While we'll never say "no" to monetary donations, our needs go beyond greenbacks! Transition Services' workers rely on donations of everything from tacky glue to paper shredders to make the products we sell come to life. The following items are most useful if they are new!

• Cardstock, 8.5" x 11" or 12" x 12:
• Straight-edge paper trimmers
• Glue sticks
• Paint — enamel, acrylic, tempera
• Heavy weight colored paper
• Blenders
• Decorative rubber stamps
• Ribbon

It's simple. Just stop by one of our four convenient Southern Nevada locations between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. Prefer pickup? Call 702-383-1106 to book a day and time that works with your schedule. We'll send a marked Transition Services van direct to your door.

Remember, the items you donate are 100 percent tax deductible. We'll provide an itemized receipt for your tax records.

• Too many half-used candles? We recycle them.

• Has your front door wreath seen better days? Save the dried flowers for us—we'll use them in our handmade paper.

• Did you just replace your measuring cups and spoons? We can use your old ones.

• Are your baby food jars piling up? We can recycle glass bottles and jars.

"I want to commend Transition Services and the staff there for the understanding, compassion and friendship they have shown my daughter, Mary DeZarn. My daughter, along with others, feel worthwhile because they go out to work like most of us do. I have had the Yard Crew come out and they do an excellent job. I feel very fortunate to know these caring people and most importantly, the men and women that are in their care. If they can deal with "my Mary," they can deal with anyone."
